Legacy. How do you measure legacy? How do you rank and compare legacies? It’s impossible to definitively answer those questions. Legacies are intangible, they're subjective. Nevertheless, the American sports world, particularly, is infatuated with the idea of ‘leaving a legacy’. Nothing signifies this more than the multiple Hall of Fames dotted around the country commemorating those supposed to be among the greatest ever in their field. Being inducted into a Hall of Fame is perhaps the clearest way to identify the magnitude of anyone's legacy.  Whenever a player retires, at least a player who has endured or been particularly successful, whether they deserve to be memorialized among the greatest or most influential players of all time is immediately asked. Deshaun Watson is one of the NFL’s premier quarterbacks. This year, a year in which his Houston Texans went a brutal 4-12 despite Watson leading the NFL in passing yards (4,823 yards) and adding 33 touchdowns and a 112.4 rating with just seven interceptions. He was nothing short of elite this year, and had he been on a winning team he would be in the MVP discussion – he could be anyway for what it’s worth. The Texans have one of the best franchise QBs in the NFL, and they have him under contract through 2025. That is a dreamy situation for any franchise. And just like that, the 2020 NFL regular season is over. It always bewilders me how quickly the season progresses, and I’m never quite ready for the disappointment it brings. Nevertheless, the most exciting five weeks of football are ahead. For 18 teams, home awaits as they enter their offseason, while the other 14 now get to chase after the Lombardi. So, with change already underway in preparation for 2021, and for the last time in the 2020, how does the power balance look in the NFL heading into the playoffs? 1.        Kansas City Chiefs (14-2) The Chiefs lost just their second game of the season in Week 17 as their backups took center stage. Of course, it didn’t mean anything, with the Chiefs having clinched the number one seed in the AFC last week, so it basically functioned as an extra bye week for some of the team’s stars. Here we are, folks. We’re just one week away from the final playoff picture having been painted, as Week 16 has come to a close.  Heading into Week 17 there are a plenty of potential outcomes riding on the final game week of the season. The AFC playoff picture dictates that a 10-win team will miss out on the playoffs, while in the NFC there will be an at-least-nine-loss division champion, with potential for an 8-8 team sneaking in, too.  With so many questions left to answer for the 2020 regular season, how is the power balance looking heading into the final week of the season?  1. Week 15 has come and gone with the usual amount of drama, intrigue, and action. Across the NFL there were upsets, one of which was truly shocking, tense and close divisional matchups, comeback wins, and a good number of blowouts just for good measure. It had it all as the playoff picture continued to clarify heading into the final two games of the regular season. So, with just 120 minutes of football left for each team, how has the power shifted after 14 games played? 1.        Kansas City Chiefs (13-1) The wins may be close, but the Chiefs are getting it done week after week, and if they get the ball to seal out a win there is no doubt they will.
