NFL Week 3 Power Rankings

Image
Is it just me or is the NFL season already moving along way faster than it feels it should? We’re already entering Week 4, just about the quarter-way mark of the regular season. Though it is moving quickly, this does mean we’re getting a much clearer picture of every team and what their prospects are for the remainder of the season. Week 3’s results have brought about plenty of shifting in the power rankings, with several teams making huge jumps up or big slides down. Most notably, a new team sits atop the NFL after a very impressive win this week.  See for yourself below. 1.        Los Angeles Rams (3-0) +2 Los Angeles certainly put out a compelling statement. Just like that, we’re onto Week 3. Week 2 will be remembered for a couple of incredible games, featuring furious comebacks, last-second drama, and the toughness of quarterbacks around the league. The Atlanta Falcons weren’t the toughest opponent, but the Buccaneers and Tom Brady rolled through them. Next. 2.        Kansas City Chiefs (1-1) For the first time in what feels like forever, the Chiefs were the victim of a comeback. The game seemed in hand early. Up 35-24 early in the fourth quarter, w...

But football is here and it felt, oh so good.  With one week already down, and 17 more ahead of us, let's have a look at the power balance in the league ahead of Week 2.  1.        Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) Washington Football Team vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers at FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland, January 9, 2021 (All-Pro Reels Photography).  https://www.flickr.com/photos/joeglo/50833225907/ .  Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 Generic Thursday night’s opener was closer than predicted, but that’s a better reflection of the Cowboys quality than the Buccaneers being overrated. You can see the Bucs’ quality all over the field. The run defense is immense, I have no idea how any defensive coordinator can prepare to stop this plethora of weapons, and then there’s Brady pulling the strings. It's hard ...
